ok..this might sound a bit silly and it probably is since i had a look around the cinema during my laughing fit and nobody else was laughing. For those who have seen transformers 2, there is a scene where the soldiers jump off the plane and open their parachutes. Then get a view from a camera which is most likely supposed to be attached to someone’s helmet. It’s really blurryyyt like a home video.LOLLL it looks like low budget home camera filming and im not sure if there was that red recording indicator at the top/bottom of the screen and i dont think a scene shot like that should be in such a high budget movie.
pretty racist. I mean there are these 2 transformers who are clearly stereotypes of black people. They talk in slang, one of them has a gold tooth and all throughout the movie, these two “brothers”, as they are referred to, are continuously pushing the clichés farther. I mean, it was almost like a futuristic blackface. They are always fighting each other, they don’t behave, they’re dumb, they have the shittiest cars and, the one that got me really mad and uncomfortable at one point, they say they don’t know how to read.
I’m a white male and usually I’m not bothered at all with this stuff. I just brush it off as Entertainment and think people are intelligent enough to know these are stupid stereotypes. But not this time. I felt really weird about it was done. It was just distasteful in my opinion. Humor is not Michael Bay’s strength.
Also, who noticed that Bay is the king of publicity and product placement. It’s getting ridiculous. The whole movie is basically car ad about how american cars are reliable, safe, cool, etc. And I’m not even talking about Budweiser, Mountain Dew and all the others I probably missed.
Again SPOILER WARNING, if you haven’t seen Transformers 2, don’t read this question if you don’t want to know what happens.
Did anyone else have a problem with the way Optimus was brought back to life? I mean, Sam was told to merge the Matrix with his spark, -but- if Optimus was officially dead/offline, his spark shouldn’t have been there to merge with the matrix (not to mention the way he was killed/offlined pretty much guarentees his spark wasn’t there anymore <<; )

I think so
it was horrable the 1st one was sooo good but the 2nd one makes me feel like i just wasted 10 dollars. It had no plot or story and didnt make much sence. well yea it there where a few positives funny scenes and enjoying the veiw of megan fox but come on i was dissapointed it was crap!
yeah the special effects are top notch, but the things wrong with it are so wrong; Sam’s parents, gone are the funny quips, dogs humping, robots humping, displaying Megan Fox’s body like a hunk of meat, was the upskirt shot of her panties needed,Hipster robots that talk street.
Finally the swearing and low brow humor…Who was the intended audience for this film 14 yr old boys?
The film is rated PG 13 and so was the first one , the first one didn’t come off like this one.
LOL it was!
I caught myself daydreaming at the end.
then i realized how much the movie didn’t meet my expectations
I’ll try to keep this as spoiler less as possible
3 reasons why I almost cried
1. A robot died but then he came back so yay
2. A person almost died (ok lots of people died in the movie but an important persn)
3. The movie ended
Who else agrees with me and what are some other things that made you cry
And noone please call me a crybaby even though I am lol
